A ver como explico esto. Estoy viviendo en un lugar donde se habla un idioma que no es el mio natal y que conozco menos de lo que creo. La gente me habla y entiendo palabras o contextos, pero pocas veces entiendo todo exacto, entonces qué hago? Los famosos y tan bien ponderados "comentarios generales". Por ejemplo: la tipa me esta contando que fue a New York; me dice: "Oh, I went last June! I love New York! I'm so jealous you are going!". Y arranca a contarme medio borracha que estuvo allá y no para de hablar y ahí empieza todo. Cómo nos gusta contar nuestros viajes, no? No para. Habla y hace gestos grandilocuentes. Al principio me tengo fe. Despues me digo "H&M" (marca de ropa), "nose cuanto street" (todavía te sigo), "jdhfuwer eahhay, ruauruatts craus ooooooosom" (puta madre ya me perdí). Pero la veo contenta, exagerada, contandome y arranco yo: "Really??? Hahaha. Wow!"; "Yes, can't belive I am going!" Is my first time there, tell me more!" Y la dejo hablar hasta que me vuelvo a perder. Empiezo a buscar mi vaso de vino, lo localizo sobre la mesa, la miro fijo a los ojos y hago el movimiento, gluc gluc gluc, que borracha estoy para entenderte, mejor me voy afuera a fumarme un pucho. "Do you smoke?" "Oh, you left it. That's good. Well, I coudn't yet. I'm going outside. I love alcohol and tabacco. Hahaha. You need to send me and email, I love your tips for NY! I'll be right back."
Chau, a otra cosa. Huyo hacia el exterior, a sentir el aire helado en mi cara y no va que me encuentro con un árabe afuera... la podes creer? Y arranca la típica charla de balcón donde solo se pueden hablar temas tan interesantes como en el ascensor. Empiezo a mirar cuánto le falta para que termine su cigarrillo y cuando me doy cuenta me está ofreciendo otro. Otro te vas a fumar la circunferencia del obelisco?! Nunca pensaste en dejar de fumar?? Hace muy mal a la fobia social!

Pliiiiiiz! Start being Sole and treat people bad! If you don´t understand what the fuck they are talking about or you don´t want people around you, just say it(remember?): "no sé si te repelo o qué?" jajaj pobre enano. You don´t have to be kind just because you´re abroad. Keep it real and let them know the real you. The one who hates getting up early (1pm), who hates chatting just because, who had the best teacher (and friend) ever jaja. For Christ sake! Widen your persepetion, remember??? TREAT PEOPLE IN THE SAME WAY MY FRIEND WOULD DO AND THEY´LL LOVE YOU. And if you don´t understand and you are interested in what you are listening, you know what, you just say so. No big deal.
